When you’re in a book store (or music store, or dvd store, etc.) and you’ve found something you like and you’re about to buy it, but then you think to yourself "I wonder how much this is on Amazon?" If you find this happening to you, then this is the app you’ve been looking for. You can search any of the departments in any of the Amazon stores and buy the item right there and then on your iPhone. With a fully integrated shopping cart you can choose any number of items you want in one go, and when you’re finished you can go straight to Amazon’s checkout and buy the items. This year's theme is "The Bittersweet Taste of Globalised Food: Local Struggles and Food Sovereignty in Latin America and Ireland."

What is Latin America Week (LAW)?

Latin America Week is an annual programme of educational, cultural and campaigning events on issues relating to human, social end economic rights in Latin America. A range of conferences, meetings, workshops, fundraising and cultural events will take place around Ireland. Dublin, Ireland: Seamus Byrne, Graphic Mint's Creative Director, gave a presentation at BizCamp 2009 in The Digital Hub on March 7th entitled "Storytelling: a traditional communication tool that can help improve your customer’s experience."

What is BizCamp?

A free conference/ gathering which is happening in Dublin on Saturday 7th March. The venue is the Digital Hub on Thomas St. It’s a chance for us all to lift ourselves out of the gloom of the endless bad news stories. It’s based on the fact that each of us as entrepreneurs have loads to learn from our peers. And we have a lot to share with them as well. There are a lot of great things happening in the Irish Economy - especially in small and medium businesses and this day will be a celebration of those. And a great place to come for people who have lost their jobs and are actively looking at starting up.
