The only way to truly know if a user experience is useful and usable is by observing an end-user using it. User testing doesn't actually test the user, it tests the system to see how user-proof it is – and the user is never wrong! Graphic Mint cannot overstate enough how valuable the findings from user testing are. When you witness a user being unable to accomplish a specific task there is probably a fault with the interaction design. User Testing uncovers issues with the user experience and the findings from this process are tangibly accurate. We qualify all our designs by including user testing as part of our design process. Its not over until we have refactored the design based on results captured from real people using the product.
